yeah. wasnt feeling too good so i skipped school today. honestly i dont ever feel like going back to sma. am thinking of studying elsewhere but at the mo, its like the most convenient and not as expensive as the alternative.
so spent the whole day trying to repair my sims2 game, which by the way i am so blardy pissed at, coz it still doesnt work. and in fact got worst. i can imagine the whole slew of EA fans storming the EA hq around the world demanding refunds or a proper, fully tested and user-friendly update. hahha.
now watching jap anime. about to finish the Magic Knight Rayearth series. i know i know, its like WHAT? its a really old manga, i was like 4 when it came out. but i grew to love it coz i watched it daily both on axn and on kidscentral when i was about 10-11. i trawling to find the OVA of the show but none of those freebie websites have it. darn. gonna search more later. =/
oh yeah. i read 'the other Boleyn girl' (which was made into a movie). and seriously the book is better than the movie. although the movie is probably more graphical than the book can ever get. it doesnt follow the story neither does it make sense. coz the endings are kinda different coz the storyline of the movie didnt follow the book so the movie's ending, although prob more interesting than the book's, it doesnt explain the situation.
btw, it was NOT of incest that George Boleyn was excuted for but in fact, homosexuality. George Boleyn was suspected to be gay and had multiple gay partners, who were also tried and excuted alongside George.
Anne Boleyn's lead to excution was when she gave birth to a monster-child. it was deformed, splayed and a head twice the normal size. it was suspected that Anne either used withcraft/potions to concieve OR had sex with George to produce a love-child, hopefully a male, who would be passed off as King Henry's heir. it was then King Henry had her tried for seducing him with magic. and in the past, to be a witch was one of the ultimate sins and Anne was either to be excuted or burned alive.
Mary had two kids by the king, Catherine and Henry. Catherine was 13 and not 5, as shown in the movie. Catherine witnessed the excution of her aunt, Queen Anne. Mary's husband, Carey, died and she later remarried and had a daughter, Anne, while Queen Anne was still alive.
omggg. i love those fiction-history books. i mean i doubt all of it was naturally true but still.. i could imagine myself there. sigh. to be in those times with all those chivalrous yet dishonest men. oooh. -shivers-
